What does Santal 1952 smell like?
It opens fresh, spicy and slightly green with pineapple, cardamom, green pepper and bay leaf. The heart turns creamy and oriental through jasmine sambac, gardenia, frangipani and tobacco. Mysore, Ceylonese and Australian sandalwood meet Mongolian deer musk in the base, leaving an animal, earthy trace.
Longevity is rated very strong and sillage strong, though few have voted. Its dense, rich character suits bold wear.
