What does Kyoto (Eau de Parfum) smell like?

The opening is bright, with peach, bergamot and orange giving a citrus lift while aldehydes and spicy notes add a sharp edge. In the heart, lilac, jasmine and iris form a floral, powdery body, softened by rose and ylang-ylang. The base settles on vetiver, sandalwood, cistus and benzoin, a woody, resinous floor that keeps the green, chypre character going.

Longevity is rated good and sillage moderate, so it stays noticeable at close range without filling a room. The classic chypre structure and powdery florals make it read clearly feminine. Perfumes with a close profile include Hermès Parfum d'Hermès and Coty Complice.
