What does Archipelago Noir smell like?
The top opens with Indonesian and Cambodian oud, leather and saffron, while papaya nectar and oakmoss absolute soften that severity with a fruity, earthy edge. In the heart, labdanum, amber and tonka turn sweeter, with Omani frankincense adding a resinous depth. The base settles into a dry, woody floor of vetiver, Siam benzoin and mastic.
Voters rate both longevity and sillage as very strong, though the vote count is small, so treat this as a rough guide. It is a dense, assertive scent, so a light hand is enough. It reads equally well on men and women and suits those who like heavy oriental fragrances.
