Coffee bean and black tea come forward, while rose, raspberry and blackcurrant add a sweet, fruity softness to that dark base. Cedar, Tuscan cypress and oud keep the scent woody and dry, and tobacco, labdanum and patchouli give it a smoky, leathery depth, with malt making the sweetness a little heavier. A fresh edge runs through the accords, so it never turns wholly heavy or sugary. The Dua Brand Chamber of Grace 223 and Jeroboam Vespero have a close profile.
