Bois des Sables

The notes move as one piece rather than in stages: gurjum wood, oud, cedarwood and gaiac wood form a woody frame, and vanilla softens it with a creamy, sweet edge. Indonesian patchouli and vetiver add an earthy depth, while the smoky and spicy sides stay in the background. Fresh, aquatic and green touches among the accords lighten the heavy woody body. Wonderwood by Comme des Garçons and Mugler Woodissime have a close profile.
