What does Vesuviuur smell like?

It opens with almond cream, cinnamon, saffron and clove, while lemon, orange and ginger add a lightly fruity lift. At the heart, butter, date, chocolate, rum and vanilla cream blend into a creamy, cake-like sweetness. The base keeps caramel, cane sugar, vanilla and benzoin going, with patchouli and oud adding a woody depth.

Voters rate its longevity and sillage as good, though the number of votes is small. Its dense, oriental, gourmand build suits men and women alike, and the heavy base notes make it a better fit for cooler weather. Maïssa Twareg and The House of Oud Dates Delight have a close profile.
