What does Retrospect smell like?

The top opens with pear, bergamot, ambrette and aldehydes, giving a fruity, bright start. In the heart, violet, rose, jasmine and orris root build a floral, powdery layer, with rosemary adding a green edge. The base of vanilla, musk and moss sweetens and softens the whole.

Longevity and sillage are moderate. Most voters pick spring, fall and winter, with summer well behind. It is chosen most for daily wear and the office, and less often for evenings or nights out.
