What does Bête de Foire smell like?
The scent reads as one piece: cade juniper, Assam oud and greenheart wood build a smoky, earthy woodiness, with cedar backing it up. Amber and benzoin add a resinous warmth, while vanilla absolute and tonka bean soften the dry wood and sweeten it.
Longevity is rated strong and sillage good. Its dense, oriental build sits closer to cooler weather. Marc Gebauer Air Tiger and Kubitay Assam Tiger have a close profile.
