What does Blow Up smell like?

It opens with paint, saffron and cardamom for a sharp, spicy start, while blackcurrant bud and absinth add a green edge. In the heart, Chinese cedar, cypriol, frankincense and myrrh build a woody, resinous base. The drydown leans on leather, labdanum, birch and amber, with civet absolute adding an animal weight.

Longevity is rated good and sillage moderate. Most voters suggest fall, spring and winter, and leisure, evening and night out are the favoured occasions. It reads more masculine than feminine, though many voters see it as feminine. Olfattology Olifant and Amouage Epic Man have a close profile.
