Longevity and sillage are both rated good, though few voters have weighed in on either. Most voters place it in fall and winter and see it as an evening or night-out scent, with leisure and daily wear close behind. It reads more feminine to most, though a fair share call it masculine.

The top opens with frankincense, black cherry, angelica flower and carrot seed. The heart turns to violet, orris concrete and ambrette seed, which give it a powdery, floral core. In the base, ambergris, sandalwood, leather and Tonkin musk make it woody, creamy and warm. Amouage Guidance and Xerjoff Opera have a close profile.
