Its longevity and sillage are both moderate. Most voters pick fall and winter for it, with spring a distant third. It is worn for evenings and nights out as readily as for daily and office wear, and voters read it as somewhat more masculine, though a sizeable share call it feminine.

The top has horse mint, cypress and silver birch, the heart is vetiver, patchouli and myrrh, and the base holds amber, oakmoss and black musk. The result is a powdery, resinous, earthy wood with a smoky, spicy thread, softened by sweetness. Heeley Eau Sacrée and Cerruti 1881 Signature have a close profile.
