What does Ilanguara smell like?

It opens with ylang-ylang and lemon, the floral side kept bright by the citrus. In the heart, copaiba balsam, frankincense, benzoin and almond add a soft, resinous, gourmand warmth. The base settles into sweet vanilla, framed by vetiver, gaiac wood and cedar.

Longevity is rated good and sillage moderate, so it stays fairly close to the skin. Most voters pick fall and spring, then winter, with summer well behind. It leans towards leisure time and evenings, and is also seen as fitting for daytime and the office. Aimée de Mars Mythique Iris and Moresque Seta have a close profile.
