What does Natural History smell like?

It opens with juniper, ylang-ylang, champaca and May rose, a floral start. The heart holds sweet birch, castoreum, opoponax and jasmine, where the scent turns animalic, spicy and smoky. In the base, tonka bean, vanilla, benzoin, Tolu balm, ambergris and Bengal oud take over, leaving it sweet, powdery, resinous and woody.

Voters find both longevity and sillage good, though the number of votes is small. Its dense, oriental build suits cooler weather and evenings, and it reads neither masculine nor feminine. Its profile is close to Estēe Lauder Cinnabar and Yves Saint Laurent Opium.
