What does Gold Leaves smell like?
The scent reads as one continuous whole: citron and laurel give a bright green frame, while cardamom and cypriol add spice. Iris and lily build the floral, powdery heart of it, and oakmoss, white cedarwood and fossilised amber bring a dry, resinous depth. Sweetness stays in the background, with a faint animal note beneath.
Longevity and sillage are rated good, though few have voted. It sits comfortably between masculine and feminine. Tom Daxon Crushing Bloom and Le Labo Iris 39 (Eau de Parfum) have a close profile.
