What does Ambre Noir smell like?

Rose and clove add a floral, spicy edge, while labdanum, frankincense and myrrh carry the resinous depth. Castoreum gives it an animal, leathery darkness, and vetiver and Indian patchouli push it towards earthy and smoky. The overall impression is warm, dense and oriental.

Longevity is rated strong and sillage good, and most voters score its staying power high, though the number of votes is small, so treat these as a rough guide. It reads dark and heavy rather than clearly masculine or feminine. Its profile is close to LM Parfums Black Oud and Mancera Black to Black.
