What does The Writer smell like?

It opens fresh, herbal and slightly sharp, with rhubarb, aldehydes, rosemary absolute, clary sage and ginger. Leather and frankincense lead the heart, bringing a resinous, smoky feel. In the base, castoreum, driftwood, sandalwood and cedarwood settle it onto a woody, animal ground.

Longevity is rated strong and sillage good. Most voters pick winter, autumn and spring, with very few choosing summer. It leans towards leisure and evening wear, and most voters read it as masculine. Jean-Charles de Castelbajac and Amouage Epic Man have a close profile.
