Citrus leads, and lavender and rosemary pull that freshness in a green direction. Star anise, cinnamon, cardamom and clove add a spicy warmth, while Indian vetiver and cedar lay a woody base. Peru balsam brings a resinous note and ylang-ylang a light floral softness.
