What does Patchouli Absolu smell like?

It opens with bay leaf, rosemary and moss, a green, herbal start. In the heart, patchouli, cypriol and gaiac wood come forward, so the woody, spicy side dominates. The base of leather, amber and tonka bean carries it into a resinous, leathery warmth, softened by musk.

Voters find both longevity and sillage strong. Most voters pick autumn and winter, with summer far behind. It leans towards night-out and evening wear, and is also worn for leisure. It reads more masculine than feminine, though it is unisex. Olivier Durbano Black Tourmaline and Birkholz Leather N' Green have a close profile.
