Black Amber

The top opens with mugwort, buchu and black cherry, and the fruity sweetness shows from the start. In the heart, davana, cocoa tree and bitter almond deepen it. The base of vanilla, tobacco and amber leaves a resinous, smoky and slightly leathery warmth.

Longevity and sillage are both rated good. Most voters pick fall and winter, with evening, leisure and night out the favoured occasions. It reads somewhat more masculine but is unisex. Mancera Red Tobacco and Slumberhouse Baque have a close profile.
