Grapefruit and bergamot add a bright edge, while jasmine and rose bring floral softness and saffron a spicy warmth. Labdanum, vanilla and ambergris give it a resinous, faintly sweet depth. Cambodian oud and Borneo oud, together with cedarwood and castoreum, build a smoky, earthy and animalic weight, and violet leaf, orris root and lavender lighten that dense weave slightly.
