What does Equatorial smell like?

The opening is led by petitgrain, lavender, bergamot and pink pepper, with frankincense and black ambergris adding a resinous depth to that fresh start. In the heart, patchouli, cypress, fir and juniper dominate, turning the scent into a green, spicy forest. The base settles on vetiver, cedar, sandalwood, Malayan and Borneo oud and oakmoss, giving a woody, faintly animal floor.

Voters rate its longevity as strong and its sillage as good, though the number of votes is small, so these ratings are tentative. Its woody, resinous build stays unisex, leaning neither clearly masculine nor feminine. Lost Tribe Holiday Fir and Marc Gebauer Berserker have a close profile.
