What does Amphorae 39 smell like?
The top is a sharp cluster of black pepper, cardamom, cumin and clove, brightened by Calabrian bergamot and Brazilian orange. In the heart, ylang-ylang and nutmeg soften the spice, and the base of Bourbon vanilla and musk settles the scent onto a sweet, warm footing. The overall impression is fruity, sweet and spicy, with an oriental build and a faint smoky edge behind it. It has been discontinued.
