What does Nankun Kodō smell like?

The scent reads as a single whole rather than unfolding in stages. Star anise, cinnamon and clove bring warm spice, blended with the resinous tones of frankincense and Siam benzoin. Hinoki cypress, Mysore sandalwood and patchouli lay down a woody, smoky foundation, while heliotrope adds a soft floral touch and musk with black ambergris give an oriental warmth. Fenugreek and black caraway deepen the spicy side. It suits those who enjoy dense, resinous, woody fragrances.
